Our Team

Dr. Colton has been practicing in the area since 2005, and his goal as a dentist is to provide the best possible care for his patients. He graduated from Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, FL in 2005, summa cum laude with the highest honors. He spent his undergraduate studies earning a Bachelor of Science at the University of Utah. Every year, he spends time furthering his education with latest trends and products, exceeding the minimum requirements and sometimes doubling them.

He has completed advanced training for implants and bone grafts. He is certified in implant placement, bone grafting, Six-Month Smiles®, short-term orthodontics and ClearCorrect aligners. He is a member of the American Dental Association® and the Utah Dental Association.

Dr. Colton served two years as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Baltimore, Maryland from July 1994 to August 1996. He is married to Alyson and together they have five kids: three girls (Shelbie, Katelyn, Rebecca) and two boys (Brady and Dalan). He loves Lake Powell, Jeeping, camping and soccer. He played for the Olympus High School varsity soccer team for three years and continues to play competitive soccer in a men’s over-40 league.

Dr. Kyle Baldwin grew up in Cottonwood Heights, Utah. He graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in biology in 2012. He earned his doctorate from the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry in 2016. Dr. Baldwin and his wife, Pyper, live in Bountiful with their four children. When he is not in the office, he enjoys spending time with family, fishing, gardening and reading a good book.

Amy became part of our team in November 2011. For her, Jordan Valley Dental is like a second home, and she loves the friendly, caring atmosphere here. She oversees the processing of insurance billing and payments for our patients. Her education includes attending SLCC and Utah State University.

She is married to her best friend and has three beautiful daughters. In 2020, she also gained a son-in-law! Amy loves to read and spend time with her family. She is also a huge Denver Broncos fan.

Alyson technically joined the practice in 2005, but really started working for her husband in 2017. That’s right: Dr. Colton is her husband! Alyson loves the easygoing and wonderful team here. She contributes to our practice by making sure everyone gets paid on time and she helps wherever she can with what the team needs in order to keep the practice running smoothly. She holds an associate degree in general education from Salt Lake Community College.

Outside the office, Alyson loves to waterski, exercise, read, and organize. She also loves to spend time with friends and her family: her five beautiful children (Shelbie, Kaitlyn, Becca, Brady, and Dylan) and her amazing and hardworking husband, Dr. Colton.

Alyson says, “Dr. Colton is a great dentist. He cares about his patients and takes the time to ensure they receive the best care. Our staff is great to work with and we want you to have a pleasant experience while visiting our office!

Amy joined our team in November 2023. She already loves her fun co-workers and all our amazing patients!

She is detail-oriented, positive and excited to help our practice succeed.

She has been married 30 years, she has four fabulous kids, three amazing daughters-in-law and three practically perfect grandchildren. Outside the office, she loves to scrapbook, read and go to Disneyland every chance she can.

Abigail became a valued member of the team in January 2024, bringing her cheerful attitude and dedication to every aspect of her work. She loves the family-like atmosphere of the practice and the way everyone goes the extra mile to create a positive environment. Abigail’s commitment to completing every task and her happy demeanor make her an essential part of the team, ensuring both patients and coworkers feel supported and cared for.

Outside of the office, Abigail enjoys a joyful life with her husband, Marsden, whom she describes as her dream man. She loves spending time with her family and enjoys activities such as watching movies, reading, hiking, camping, horseback riding and photography.

Jen has been a welcoming presence at the front desk since joining the team in 2022. She enjoys meeting the many wonderful patients who visit the office and values working alongside a supportive and dedicated team. Known for her reliability and willingness to go the extra mile, Jen builds strong connections with patients and coworkers alike. Her friendly demeanor and commitment to finishing every task ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone.

Outside of work, Jen is a proud mom to three amazing daughters. She loves spending time with her family, whether capturing memories through photography, gardening, camping, fishing, swimming or going on vacations.

Keri started at our office in 2023, and loves the friends and family feel of this practice and how everyone works together to help patients have a positive experience. She enjoys spending time with her husband of 35 years and their three awesome kids and their spouses. Her favorite role is being grandma to six cute kids. She loves family gatherings, chocolate and sunny vacations.

Stephanie joined us July 2024. She has enjoyed getting to know her co-workers and patients. She contributes to the success of the practice by bringing her previous dental knowledge, having a good work ethic and works well as a team member.

She married her high school sweetheart and has been happily married for 23 years. She has two kids and a cockatiel named Nugget. When she isn’t at work she likes to knit, crochet, sew and watch TV. She also likes camping and going on picnics in the mountains. She enjoys being in the dental field and looks forward to being part of your dental journey.

If you think Dominique looks familiar, she probably does! We are so excited to welcome Dom back to Jordan Valley Dental! She joined us back in 2017 as an assistant, left in 2020 for school, and is now back as a hygienist. She likes working for talented, ethical and kind doctors. She contributes to the practice by being caring and having a compassionate attitude. Dom has two dogs and is getting married soon and loves to crochet, read and play the guitar. Welcome back to Jordan Valley, Dom!

Alisha received a Bachelor of Science in dental hygiene in 2015. She joined our team in 2011 as an assistant and switched to a registered dental hygienist in 2015. She loves getting to know her patients and helping them have positive experiences at the dental office.

In her free time she enjoys heading to the mountains with her husband.

Angie developed a love for the dental profession when she started working in her father’s practice at just 12 years old. Working by her father’s side allowed her to learn to love and care for patients the way he did. Angie graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the Utah College of Dental Hygiene, where she was given the Excellence in Professional Care Award. She joined our team in 2016 and brings that excellence in professional care each day to work! She enjoys the positive attitude of the team and the fun we have working together, and she loves caring for great patients and getting to know them. She also appreciates that our dentists are honest in their treatments and listen to patients’ concerns. Angie is outgoing and easy to talk to, and she makes every effort to give gentle and thorough cleanings.

Angie has been married to her best friend for over 30 years. They have three amazing sons, who now have beautiful wives of their own, and five wonderful grandsons who make being a grandma the best job ever! Angie loves to read and is learning to mountain bike. She exercises regularly with her husband and enjoys playing with her grandchildren any chance she gets.

Kaitlyn joined our office in September of 2019. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the Utah College of Dental Hygiene and has a strong passion for patient care. Kaitlyn enjoys getting to know each patient and takes pride in helping them improve their oral health through personalized care and education.

Outside of work, she stays busy with her three little boys. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, hiking, traveling and making memories with her family.

Lindsay started out as a dental assistant in April 2008 and was hired as a dental hygienist in June 2014 after graduating from Utah Valley University with a dental hygiene degree that same year. Lindsay loves our team and patients, and she is skilled at providing gentle and thorough dental cleanings. She loves seeing the before and after results and helping patients improve their oral health.

Lindsay married her best friend in 2012, and they welcomed their son in 2017. She enjoys spending time with her family, group fitness classes, reading, watching documentaries and outdoor recreational activities.

Natalie graduated from the Utah College of Dental Hygiene in April 2009 and joined our team in November 2009. She loves working with Dr. Colton, who she feels is a fabulous dentist and very honest and trustworthy. She also loves her co-workers and patients and always tries to make each patient’s experience the best it can be. She values everyone’s time and tries hard to do her job not just well but efficiently.

Natalie is married to her husband, Trenton, and they have a daughter and son, Aurora and Cade. She enjoys playing the piano, reading and DIY projects.

Ashley joined our practice in September of 2023. A recent high school graduate, she is excited to begin her studies at Utah State University in the fall. She loves working at our practice because of the strong friendships shared among our team.

She is the oldest of three siblings, and in her free time, she enjoys scrapbooking and spending time in the sun.

Becca became a part of our team in August of 2022. She is currently preparing to attend hygiene school in the fall and brings a strong work ethic to everything she does. Becca loves being part of our team and values the friendships she has built with her co-workers.

As the daughter of Dr. Colton, she has grown up around dentistry and brings both passion and familiarity to her role. Outside of work, she enjoys doing artsy nails and doing anything outdoorsy.

Elsie graduated from BYU-Hawaii in December 2024 with her degree in Health and Human Science. She joined our practice in March 2025, and loves being part of the friendly faces that you will see at JVD. In her spare time she likes to weight lift.

Keirsten graduated from Kearns High School and completed the dental GTI program. She joined our practice in March 2019. Her favorite part of this practice is helping people achieve the smile they have always wanted. Keirsten plans on staying at Jordan Valley Dental for a very long time.

Keirsten has been with her husband, Dehj, for eight years. They have an adorable daughter and a baby boy on the way. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, camping and hanging out with family.

Nicole joined our practice in November 2020. She attended Utah Dental Careers, a 10-week program where she earned her dental assistant certification, in 2019. Nicole’s favorite part about this office is helping her patients and working with people. She loves her coworkers and her job.

Nicole has been married since 2020 to her amazing husband Davin, and they have the cutest little girl born in 2023. They plan on continuing to grow their family. Outside of the office, she enjoys watching TV (Stranger Things, Sons of Anarchy and Friends), listening to music, dancing, singing and spending time with her family.

Oanh has been with our office since March 2025. She is studying pre-med for dental hygiene at Salt Lake Community College. She loves hearing stories, talking to the other hygienists and watching our hygienist’s clean teeth and do their work. She helps contribute to our practice by maintaining the efficiency and workflow of the office, and by playing her role well to avoid passing on her work to others.

Oanh is a middle child and loves to cook, snowboard, read and do outdoor activities. She loves cats, even though she is quite allergic to them, and would love to see any pictures of your cats!

Saige graduated from Copper Hills High School and attended BYU–Idaho for a year. She plans to pursue a career in dental hygiene. Saige appreciates the kindness and teamwork among her co-workers, who are always willing to lend a hand. Her punctuality, strong work ethic and ability to get along with everyone make her an important part of the team’s success.

Saige comes from a family of six and is the third of four children. A fun fact about Saige is that all four siblings share the same birthday, each born in a different year. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and spending time boating.

Savannah is a new employee and joined JVD in October 2024. She is currently attending SLCC for her Generals, but is looking into hygienist school. She loves meeting new people and giving patients the help they need with their teeth. She contributes to the success of the practice by having a positive attitude and being a speedy assistant. Savannah loves to play ice hockey and has recently taken up figure skating. We are so glad to have her here at JVD!
